Prep School Admissions

We understand that choosing the right school for your child is one of the most important decisions you can make. We try to ensure that we help you make that decision by providing prospective parents and their children many opportunities to visit our school and to understand our ethos and values and to experience our unique environment and to see for yourselves what makes our school so unique.

Personal Tour

We are delighted to be able to welcome you to Vinehall for a personal tour with Joff Powis, our Headmaster, and his wife Liz. These tours give you an invaluable and detailed insight into all that goes into a “Vinehall Day” and the opportunities available for your child.

Parent tours take place every weekday during term time.

To arrange a private tour, please click the link below, email us at admissions@vinehallschool.com or call us on 01580 883 090 and we will be in touch to arrange a suitable date and time for your visit.

“Thank you so much for your email and for the tour, it was wonderful seeing all the children enjoying their day. We both agree that Vinehall offers what we're looking for in terms of our son’s educational and personal development, and we especially appreciate the positive, welcoming atmosphere at all levels”

Admissions Events

We also host admissions events each term. Visit our Open Events page to find out about our next open event and register your attendance.

Taster Days

Vinehall offers Taster Days on a date and time to suit you and your child. We can organise as many taster days as you and your child need to get a really good feel for the school. A buddy will look after your child throughout their day when they will gain insight into a typical day at Vinehall and experience our broad and balanced curriculum.

For any family considering boarding, we also offer boarding taster experience days and nights.

When you are ready to register your child

If you would like to go ahead and apply for admission to our school the next stage is to complete a registration form.

Registration forms are available from the Admissions Team or you can download our Registration Form here.

Acceptance of admissions application

On acceptance of the application an offer letter is issued and acceptance form sent out. The acceptance form then needs to be returned along with payment of the appropriate acceptance deposit (refundable).
