Director of Drama and Head’s PA
What subject/s do you teach?
Drama lessons with Year 5, a Pre-Prep drama club, 3 x productions each year, scholarship tuition, public speaking and ‘The A Team’ in Year 3, plus Office Manager and all the PA responsibilities for Joff Powis.
What made you want to become a teacher?
To share my passion for all things dramatic.
What do you enjoy most about Vinehall?
The delight of seeing pupils blossom on stage; also the wonderful company of my colleagues.
What are you planning that you are most excited about?
Each production is a huge excitement and the forthcoming Y8 trip to see ‘War Horse’.
What is your best teaching memory?
Giving a major part to a pupil and seeing that the confidence I placed in that child had a hugely transformative effect. My faith was justified and the performance was fantastic. The pupil now shares my passion for drama and I follow his progress with great enthusiasm.

I was a founder member of Foursight Theatre with three friends from university.
