Adapting to a completely new way of teaching and learning has been a huge challenge, but across the country teachers have demonstrated their creativity and their tenacity by ensuring that the children they teach continue to enjoy meaningful and engaging learning experiences.

At Vinehall, we wanted to make sure that the children had access to the same high level of provision, but we were also very conscious of looking after the children’s mental wellbeing. For this reason, we decided not to follow a model that would require children to be plugged into a computer for eight hours a day and instead we put in place a framework that would mean families had greater degree of flexibility during this challenging period.
