Gold Medals at the Sussex Athletic Championships

We are very proud of our ten young athletes, who represented Vinehall at the Sussex Athletic Championships yesterday.

We have brought home four individual Sussex champions and our Year 5 boys' relay team (Harvey P, Jamie M, Masa M and Charlie C ) defended their title for Sussex champions for a second year in a row.

Out of a squad of ten children, six have won gold medals!

Harry McK - Sussex Champion (and broke the record) in U10 Shot.

Arthur P - Sussex Champion U10 Javelin

Charlie C - Sussex Champion in 800m

Jamie McK - Sussex Champion in 1500m

A special mention also for Rosie A who came third out of 24 children in the long jump, jumping only 4cms less than the winner.
