A selection of our senior artists embarked on a fantastic day of creativity, set in Eastbourne. The first stop was a delicious lunch at Eastbourne College where Vinehall pupils met Jayne Harriott, the Head of Art. We were given a tour of their excellent facilities and bumped into a few familiar faces from previous years….

During the Summer Term, Vinehall artists created their own flip-flops from recycled materials. The theme given to them was ‘The Ocean’. It quickly became apparent that it is very difficult not to use plastic. However, all pupils rose to the challenge by creating some eye-catching footwear from recycled carpet underlay made from old plastic bottles….
