Year 2 started off their trip by watching the meerkats; showing a great interest in their daily activities. In the zoo’s classroom, the children had an educational talk, learning more facts about meerkats and had a chance to meet a milk snake and an armadillo.
Next up was a fascinating tour around the zoo, where the children used their animal spotter guides to find the different animals. A wonderful day for all!
