Year 4 had a wonderful day at the Hertmonceux Science Centre.  The weather was glorious and so was their behaviour.  They did a great job at exploring and working out how all the equipment worked; they listened carefully during the talk and asked some really impressive questions.

Year 5 are designing parachutes.  They have made two, changing one variable to see which stays in the air for the longest.  They have learnt about asking questions, planning investigations, making the testing fair and finding averages when looking at results.
