We were all so proud of our Little Vines as we celebrated our Harvest Festival this week. This was the very first time for some of the children to visit the theatre for the Harvest assembly. They sang ‘Big Red Combine Harvester’ in front of the whole school and Mrs Whittaker said they were all fantastic to perform in front of so many people. The children helped Mrs Borrows dig up some of the vegetables and pumpkins from the vegetable patch and we could not quite believe how big the pumpkins had grown! We continued the theme of Harvest time by reading the story of ‘The Little Red Hen’ and the children then worked together to bake their own bread which was delicious!
