Friday’s hymn practice was a sight (and sound) to behold. The whole of the Prep school prepared themselves to sing by balancing their books on their heads. The ‘Bella Signora’ warm up was a timely nod to the European Day of Languages.
After a round of ‘My dame has a crane that is lame’ in parts, the children sang ‘Come ye Thankful People’ and ‘We Plough the Fields and Scatter’ in preparation for our Harvest Festival.
It is so lovely to be singing together again as a community, led by Sue Glossop and with Carina Everist on piano.
