During this period of remote learning, we have had to adapt to a virtual classroom and sourcing unlikely art materials. Materials such as brown paper, kitchen foil and old ball point pens.

Being resourceful with materials is something the Art department strives to achieve. Whether pupils are physically in school or whether they are at home, having any type of equipment is fortunate. Creativity is always possible; that is what makes us human.

The pupils have been covering a whole range of subject matter, in line with their curriculum and art core skills. The topics are far reaching: from Stop Motion animation, through weaving or designing Steam Punk insects, to set design. Even optical colour blending!

Please enjoy the rich and varied artworks coming from home.
