The children had a wonderful time last Friday with a new event, the ‘Christmas Half.’
At lunch, all children in the Prep School were surprised with the news that they would be off timetable for the afternoon. Needless to say this was universally well-received and the activities began after break.
In Year 3 and 4, the children made Christingles and had the opportunity to enjoy a lovely service in the small chapel.
Years 5-8 decorated their classrooms and were tasked with building as big a Christmas tree decoration as they possibly could that would hang unsupported from the balcony outside of the staff room. Some incredible creations came about and a great time was had by all. It would seem this could be a festive tradition for any years to come.
