Today was a spooky day at Vinehall for Halloween Friday frightening fun. A wonderful selection of very creative pumpkins were delivered to school and the children arrived in a fabulous assortment of colourful costumes. These were either on a scary theme, a character from a book, something orange and black or just a ‘ghoulish’ hairstyle, and the children certainly entered into the ‘spirit’.

Staff also made spectres of themselves, adapting some of their lessons to a suitably ghastly ghostly theme or donning crazy costumes. Many thanks to the FOV who will donate £1 per child to Dom’s Food Mission and Rwanda Aid. It was a great way to end the half term and glide off into the holidays.

Not to be left out of the fun, Year 3 have put together their own pumpkin video. To view please click here.
