We are all so very proud of the Nursery and Kindergarten children who have been very busy learning at home and trying their best, just like Terry Tortoise!

‘What can you grow in your garden?’ This was the question put to all our Little Vines this week.

The topic was based around the story of ‘Oliver’s Vegetables’ by Vivian French. The children have been working together with their families, just like Billy Bee, to plant and care for the plants and vegetables in their garden. Just like Oliver in the story, the children have been trying new things and some of them even discovered that actually they DO like vegetables!!

Mrs Wolford asked the children to use some vegetables to create potato heads; you were all so creative, well done!

Some children have been recording the growth of their plants by measuring them.  I think all the beautiful sunshine and green fingers have really worked their magic, as you can see from the pictures!

Lots of ‘mark making/writing’ has been going on and the children have created their own fruit and vegetable shops, as well as  learning all about numbers too.

I must also add  a big WELL DONE to all our Mummies and Daddies who are trying their best too, just like Terry Tortoise, thank you!
