Mrs Everest was thrilled to receive some excellent poetry from her class this week.
The task was to compose an Easter or Spring poem. The poem did not have to rhyme and could be an acrostic with the letters of a Spring word starting each new line, for example.
Some ideas for topics suggested were daffodils, lambs, eggs, snowdrops, Easter and Spring.
Children were encouraged to use their senses to think of powerful adjectives and adverbs that will ‘paint the picture’ using their words.
We are very proud of these wonderful examples.
