As the Hastings Music Festival ended we were delighted to hear of the achievements of Edward M, one of our Year 4 pupils.  A budding musician, Edward took part in various classes including Piano and Speech and Drama.

Edward was thrilled to take home a total of eight trophies for his efforts, which were recognised with an invitation to the Special Awards celebration on Saturday.

At the end of the festival awards, the Deputy Mayor of Hastings presented Edward with the Janet Cratchley Memorial Trophy for the highest mark in any amateur solo piano class, the Bodiam Manor School Challenge Trophy for Speech, Prose and Humourous Verse School (Years 3 to 6) and the Thalia Mime Cup, for the highest mark in mime solo, which he performed last night in the Festival Finale at the White Rock Theatre.

Congratulations Edward!
