Colts A v Papplewick   Lost 10 v 35

On a hard frost-bound pitch Vinehall struggled to contain the talented tourists from Papplewick School.  The wintery conditions meant that we played a touch tackling version of the game.  It put a premium on fluent passing and fast hands; the sort of core skills which Papplewick possessed in abundance.  Vinehall did manage to link their play together successfully as the game progressed and Bertie T profited with a couple of incisive breaks for the line.

In the end the final score was about right.  Vinehall had made our opponents work hard for their tries and Papplewick had given us a lesson in how to pass and run with the ball.
