This week Years 6, 7 and 8, plus pupils from three visiting schools – St Andrew’s, Bede’s and Claremont – were treated to the amazing Geography Game Show held in the old gym.
Our speaker drew a world map from memory and engaged the pupils in places, history, languages and general knowledge as he drew, asking questions all the time. At the end, a few individuals won prizes if they were able to name the places and answer some questions correctly.
It was an awesome, fast-paced experience and the feedback from the pupils has been 100% positive. Undoubtedly all the children will have learned a huge amount about world geography!
The map is on display in the library – you cannot miss it and are most welcome to come and see it for yourselves.
