This year five young Vinehall poets have had their work recognised and rewarded by a panel of judges in the Satips Poetry Competition run for pupils attending independent schools across the country and abroad.

Grace W won First Prize in the senior section of the competition for her skilfully crafted poem, ‘Perfectly Imperfect’, which was highly praised by the judges who thought it was ‘a stunning poem for someone of this age and a most worthy winner.’  Well done Grace!

Further honours went to Oliver S, Beatrice M, Willow G and Charlie P, who were each awarded Highly Commended certificates for their outstanding poems. (Oliver and Beatrice are pictured)

Overall the school received some excellent feedback from the judges who were obviously impressed by the standard of work submitted by Vinehall pupils this year.

Many congratulations also to Mrs Platt who encouraged so many of the children to enter the competition.
