When Zachary Nwogwugwu was at Vinehall he was always known as a bit of a speed demon. Winning many national titles both individually and as part of our relay teams, we always knew he would go on to do great things!

After leaving Vinehall in July 2017 Zac ran the 100m at the England U15 Championships in August, recordingĀ 11.74 secs he was the 2nd quickest 13-year-old at the competition.

Having also recorded 11.6 at a Kent Young Athletes League match he was ranked 48th in the country competing a year up with U15s.

Continuing to train hard he ran at Lee Valley in North London in December. Recording a time of 7.36 secs in the 60m sprint he became the 6th quickest U14 in Britain, EVER!

Following on from that he won a Bronze medal at the National Indoor Championships in Sheffield.

It’s so wonderful to hear of his successes and we wish him all the very best for the future. Well done Zac!
