Today sees the Vinehall ‘team’ of staff, parents and even a couple of recent Vines setting off on the 24 hour ride to Paris. The group aims to reach The Eiffel Tower at some point tomorrow afternoon, 160 miles later. The first stage sees the cyclists ride to Newhaven, from where they will catch the overnight ferry to Dieppe, arriving before dawn for the main leg of the ride.

The Ride4Ryan 2 is in memory of much-loved Vinehall teacher Ryan Mitchell, who sadly passed away almost exactly one year ago. The cyclists are fundraising for the Mitchell Pavilion, which will be built in Ryan’s memory.
