“The Primary Maths Challenge took place last week for all of year 6 and several year 5 pupils. The Primary Maths Challenge involves 25 questions focussed on using and applying maths to solve problems and really tests a child’s tenacity and thinking skills.
This year we had 14 children achieve the bronze certificate standard, 13 children achieve the silver certificate standard and 7 children achieve the gold certificate standard, a really great performance.
In addition Ines Davison achieved so highly (with only a couple of questions incorrect) that she has secured a place in the national finals round in February 2016. Very well done to her!
