School Inspector declares Vinehall Nursery “The best I have ever seen!”

Vinehall School has just received their latest inspection report, following an inspection by the Independent Schools Inspectorate at the end of January. The inspection team visited the school for two days, observing lessons, spending time with the children and interviewing staff and parents as well as looking at the facilities and the education offered.

At the end of the inspection, the judgment of all aspects of the Early Years provision were rated as ‘Outstanding’. Comments in the report included “Excellent teaching enables most children to reach or exceed their expected levels in all learning areas”, “A true sense of confidence is given to the children” and “Thinking skills are highly developed”. In addition, the inspection team reported that “The EYFS is exceptionally successful in fulfilling its aim for all children to reach the highest standard they can achieve within a high quality, well-resourced learning environment. Parents very much appreciate the excellent communications with the staff and the many opportunities they have to support their children’s learning”.

Headmaster of Vinehall School, Richard Follett, was delighted with the inspection report, saying “We are extremely pleased with the findings of the inspection, which was detailed and gave a comprehensive report on all aspects of the Early Years at Vinehall. We are well aware that the provision here is second to none, but it is always reassuring to have outside authorities confirming this and there is no surprise enquiries are increasing as a result. The report is testament to the incredibly hard work of our Head of Pre-Prep Mrs Richardson and her superb team of staff.”
