Head of Drama, Debbie Gearey, excelled herself once again in a powerful production of ‘Jungle Child’ on 15th December. Senior pupils played a variety of exotic creatures with flair and grace, perfectly mimicking the animal movements and characters based on Kipling’s famous tale. A large pack of sleek wolves, cheeky monkeys, two snakes, an elegant panther, a cheerful and lolloping bear and a conniving jackal were amongst all the animals and birds who met with Mowgli in the jungle and shared his adventures in defeat of the terrible tiger Shere Khan. A colourful, imaginative and wondrous evening enjoyed by the entire school community.
