The Pre-Prep was awash with colour on 12th December as staff and pupils donned giant ears, stripy tights and pointy hats to dress as elves for the day to raise money for The Rocking Horse Appeal. They have been so busy with the various Christmas productions which have delighted parents and friends, that it was great fun to enjoy a festive day of seasonal activities. Christmas is always a lovely time in Pre-Prep; the children in the Nursery, Kindergarten and Reception came together for a Nativity, ‘Whoops-a-Daisy Angel’. Year 1 held an assembly for their parents on the theme of light and dark. Year 2 gave a confident performance of ‘Santa’s Setbacks’, where Santa had a number of difficulties to overcome just in time for Christmas! The children ended the term with a traditional Christmas party, a visit from Father Christmas and a final Christmas assembly for parents which included a mix of traditional carols, highlights from performances and some rousing modern numbers!
