On 1st May the School community welcomed a swarm of Vinehall bees.  Children and staff members of the Bee Keeping Club are thoroughly enjoying the responsibility of caring for the bees and helping nature to thrive, taking turns to assume the new bee-keeping suits.  The hive and its several thousand occupants are housed in ‘The Pupils Garden’ well away from classrooms and play areas in the school’s extensive grounds.  We await the presentation of the first jar of Vinehall honey with sweet anticipation.
