This is specifically tailored for children in Years 3 – 6 who are not quite ready for full boarding but are nevertheless interested in becoming a boarder. Junior Boarders board four nights every week and a special boarding programme has been developed for them to include regular routines including play and storytime. We leave the choice of which 4 nights to board up to you, however, we find that either Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday or Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday work particularly well. Many children will opt for full boarding in Years 7 and 8 or at their next school and this is an easy introduction for them.
Of course, if a boy or girl wishes to full board in Years 3 – 6, they are most welcome to do so!
Temporary ‘temp’ boarding is also available whereby children can board for a maximum of 3 nights per week at a cost of £42 per night.
