One of the highlights of the festive season is the annual Carol Service at Salehurst Church. Senior and Junior choirs sang beautifully and children read with poise and skill in a service led by Vinehall grandparent, Reverend Channer. The beautiful candle-lit setting added to the pleasure of a packed congregation of families which couldn’t fail to engender a sense of Christmas goodwill and cheer.
Afterwards boarding pupils and their parents returned to Vinehall for the traditional dormitory decorating competition after mulled wine and mince pies. All the ‘dorms’ were very creatively festooned but this year’s proud winners were Swallows (Lily, Paula, Carmen and Alice)
